Delete your account & data

You are in control of your data. This page explains exactly how to delete your TheFinalRep account and personal information, what we remove, what little we may keep and why, and how long it takes. No hoops, no guilt.
1. How to request deletion
You can delete your account and personal data at any time, in either of two ways.
- In the app — open Profile → Settings → Delete accountand confirm. This is the fastest route and removes your data directly from your device’s session.
- By email — write to sampitoffl@gmail.com from the account you want deleted, with the subject line “Delete my account”. Sending from your own contact details helps us verify the request and act on it quickly.
Either method results in the same outcome: your personal data is permanently deleted as described below.
2. What is deleted
When your deletion request is processed, we permanently remove the personal information tied to your account, including:
- Your profile — your account record and optional display name.
- Your phone number — the phone number used to sign in via one-time password.
- Your fitness goal & onboarding answers — everything you told the coach to build your plan.
- Your plans — every weekly training and nutrition-adaptation plan generated for you.
- Your task history — which tasks you completed and at which version (Main, Lite, or Survival), and the reasons you gave when a task did not happen.
- Your weekly reflections — your stand-up answers and notes.
- Your reminders & wellness settings — and your push-notification token, so reminders stop.
Once deleted, this information cannot be recovered. If you sign up again later, you start fresh with a new plan.
3. What may be retained, and why
To keep our records accurate and to meet our legal obligations, a small amount of information may be retained after deletion:
- Anonymized financial-ledger records — a minimal, anonymized record of subscription and Gains activity, kept for accounting integrity. This is stripped of information that identifies you. (Remember: Gains are internal app credits with no cash value — they cannot be bought, withdrawn, or transferred.)
- Legally required records — any information we are required to keep for tax, accounting, or compliance purposes, for the period the law requires.
We retain the minimum necessary, and only for as long as needed. We do not keep your coaching data, reflections, or contact details once your account is deleted.
4. How long it takes
Deletion is processed within roughly 30 days of your request. In most cases it is completed sooner. If we need to confirm anything with you first, we will reach out using the contact details on your account.
5. Cancel your subscription separately
Deleting your TheFinalRep account does not automatically cancel a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed and managed by the app stores, so you must cancel yours separately:
- Apple App Store — open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions and cancel TheFinalRep.
- Google Play — open the Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions and cancel TheFinalRep.
Please cancel before deleting your account to avoid being billed for a renewal. We are not able to manage or refund store subscriptions on your behalf.
6. Your rights
Under India’s data-protection framework you have the right to access, correct, and erase your personal information, and to raise a grievance about how your data is handled. Account deletion is how you exercise the right to erasure. For more on what we collect and why, see our Privacy Policy.
